I am new to the group,had few questions .I am working as electrical design engineer with 3 years exp.is that countable if i decide to go for CSQA certification exam ,or is it that the exp has to be from IT sector only. please suggest.

Hi Certified Software

Certified Software Quality Analyst is mainly for people who have experience in IT sector. Your exp. in electrical is valuable but may not qualify for this exam

You can consider other certifications or you can start preparing now and give the exam after 1 year.

I have gone through SiX Sigma Green Belt training for quality process in Design field also i have knowledge of DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) so is that countable? I have knowledge of working on ERP packages like AS400 also.so is that countable.....even though should i spend 1 years for preparation and then give exam? what are the other certifications ...please if you can be more clear.
