- 1. According to Deming's principle no numeric target or goal should be set. Give three examples in IT organization as to how this effects.
- 2. Apart from the user of the software, identify three other groups in the organization who may be affected by software product. Explain how their perspectives would be taken care through out the SDLC? (25 marks)
- 3. Give three examples from IT organization where Pareto analysis of 80:20 holds good. (15 marks).
- 4. A specific department wants to come out with a process to be defined for Time Line management. They have approached you as the Requirement manager. Address 3 requirements that will bring out all 3 apsects of COQ. (15 marks)
- 5. State some differences between SEI CMM and ISO 9000 (10 marks)
- 6. User is facing a lot of problems in enhancements and minor changes carried out for a software product. How do you apply quality principles and rectify the problems? (15 marks).
- 7. Metrics of Usability, Reliability, Maintainability, Security, Customer Satisfaction (10 marks)
- 8. The procedure of tool selection was given (define needs, train the user, get feedback etc). The tools in your organization were selected using that procedure but still the tools were ending up as shelfware, as in, the people are not using the tools after deployment. How will you, as a QA manager, select tools which become popular in the org.
