I am snehal. I am planning to give CSTE exam this year. I have not given any preliminary exam like ISTQB etc. I am directly preparing for CSTE. I have two years of experience in testing. Is it possible for me to clear the CSTE exam by studying for just two months.

Hi Snehal....

Good to know that u r planning to give ur CSTE........Well i am CSQA,CSTE Certified(2008).......If u have planned to give CSTE in Dec'08..i guess by now u might have paid the fees.....Its on Dec'13 i guess.....

But as far as CSTE is concerned u jst need to refer CBOK and no other book......If u have paid the fees u might have received ur CBOK(Online)....There's no need for any class...U jst need to make sure that u complete reading CBOK(All Domains) atleast 3 times bfore the exam date.....I assure u wud easily clear the exam.....Moreover dont leave any domain optional.....U should have read all the ten domains....

All the best..............Remember CBOK is the only and only source to clear CSTE.

I want to know one thing , is there any vast difference in the course materials of different years. For example CSTE book 2006,07 and CSTE book 2008,09.

Because currently i am reading the CSTE book 2006 , since my course material is yet to come.

Hi Snehal...

I am sure there wont be much difference in the Syallabus.....But now the process for exam registration is online...So the moment u register for thexam u should be able to see CBOK online.....But u have said that ur course material is yet to come........

Have you taken a exam date.....Cause if u have taken the exam date u should be able to see ur CBOK online....The earlier process of exam registration by sending fax(Paper Work) has been replaced by Online Process......

The exam pattern remains the same in India...That is paper based(2 Objective Paper & 2 Subjective Paper)...In India exams are not yet online...
