Indian market is hot, if you prepare well for interview you can get the job you want. The questions are mostly on geekinterview.com

Submitted by csqa on November 22, 2006 - 1:30pm.The same problem, is faced by myself.Even with 6 yrs of development exp, which includes experience as a QL, and a BE(Computers) degree; I cant find a job as a SQA/SEPG.

Submitted by Shiny on November 23, 2006 - 6:25am.This is news to me, as I always thought Indian market is very hot.... I would say your best bet would be to contact Consultants , call them, not just email.... tell them you are looking for job in CMMI level 5 company
I am sure the biggies would have openings for SQA as not many people are excited about QA job.
Check techjobs.co.in for active consultants.

Submitted by Shiny on November 24, 2006 - 5:53am.certification is only a plus in today's market, it will make you stand out of other applicants. I dont think indian companies have yet started demanding CSQA for SQA position. Maybe in will happen in near future.
Your are well qualified for the positions, just keep trying...

Am also looking out for a job in CMM Level 5.am having exp.of 2.2 yrs in manual testing and knowledge of loadrunner.Also i want to know whther any testing centres in chennai to give training for the certification CSTE,CSQA,ISTQB like that.want to know urgently.pls guide me.

There is not a single tool , but generally Silk , Winrunner , Test director are amongst the top used.
