Need help regarding CSQA Exam dates.

Hi,

This is Gadigeppa. would like to take up CSQA Certification. I gone through many articales posted and surffed few websites but getting confuse with Exam pattern,dates(In year which all specific months exam will be conducted), and about syllabus (study materials).

Please help me out in this regard.

Hi Gadigeppa,

normally you will not be able to get the testing dates until you register your interest in taking either of the tests thru Software Certifcations (http://www.softwarecertifications.org/).

After you have completed the application and paid the fee, you will get the study guide and a list of confirmed dates at the time, and will get updates of dates added up until you test within the registration period. You will have 1 year from the date of registration to sit for the certification tests. If you fail any of the 4 parts, you will be given an additional 6 months to re-test. If there is a CSQA/CSTE nearby your location, you can ask that they proctor a test, which is allowed. Also, there usually are testing opportunities at QAI events.

Following are the dates for CSQA Examination in the year 2008 :

1. March 15th.

2. June 21st.

3. Sep

4. Dec.

For month of March and June dates confirmed but Sep. and Dec month dates not confirmed, Examination will be some date in these months.

Yes, it is little bit difficult to remember the subject, but we have too....:)

Coming to the point, If you are working in the QA domain it will not be that much difficult since you are practice the same you read.

If you are working in Testing field, Once you read QA concepts then apply to the QA process your company follows, and if you are not clear about concepts, you can always post in this site or can ask somebody in the QA team of your company.

Best think to remember concept is understand instead of mugup.

Hi Gomathi - 60 days before teh actual exam date u need to register at the www.softwarecertifications.org site and fill the application form. You need to provide your Credit card details and also fax the app form to the contact# given in the site. U wl get an ack from them and also the CD containing the C-BoK.

CSQA exam in India is paper based exam. Conducted 4 times in a year. Dates you can verify in the www.Softwarecertifitions.org website.

Exam Pattern:

Exams are divided in to 4 parts: 2 objectives and 2 subjectives.

Syllabus:

Once you pay for the certifications they will create asses for you to download the CBOK , if you study that it will be more than enough to clear the certification.

I am appearing for CSQA Exam on 17th Jan 09'. I have already got the latest CBOK and doing my preparations based on the same. I want last 2 or 3 years CSQA question papers, weightage for questions and other model papers.

I have send u CSQA Question Bank on ur yahoo id...

U have asked for weightage for questions...Now in this respect i wud request u to make sure that u r thorough with each and every domain...Questions can come from any domain...Both in terms of Subjective or Objectives...There are 50 Objective questions in each Objective paper...And 10 questions in each Subjective paper...Dnt leave any domain optional...Now ur exam is on 17th Jan'09...So u still have approximately 19 days left for ur exam...So make sure that u have ready each domain 1-2 times...

Do refer the sample questions papers i have send...But not much...Instead it wud be better if u keep referring CBOK...Almost all the questions are asked from CBOK...

Remember CBOK is the only source which can help u sail through ur exam...
