Subjective - Vision, Goal, Value, Principle
Hi,
From KD4 I have allways seen this question in the past papers:( Please fill in the ???? )
1. Vision, Goal, Value, Principle
(a) Give the Definition
(b) Who sets it up?
© Give an example
Vision:
Definition: The definition of the results to be achieved.
Who sets it: Senior / Executive Management
Goal:
Definition: Goals tells us how the vision will be achieved.
Who sets it: ???
Value: Value tell sus how to conduct business.
Who sets it: ????
CBOK says:
Goals: explain how the vision will be achieved. For example, if an organization's vision is to produce defect-free software, a goal might be to have no more than one defect per thousand lines of code.
VALUE: Values or guiding principles tell how to conduct business
PRINCIPLE: no mention in CBOK
but the link which you had sent the it gave an exaple of:
In order to achieve our vision we will:
Be a learning organization, that identifies with the work of our clients by providing innovative, flexible and timely delivery of services.
But, Then this is what GOAL is.. so what is teh sifference between GOAL and PRINCIPLE?
Principle:
Definition: ???? ( The CBOK does not say anything about PRINCIPLE )
Who Set it: ????
Regards,
Shinjini
